Qualifications

• Current licensure with the Physical Therapy Board of California.
• Ability to take licensing exam as a physical therapist license applicant under supervision for 90 days.
• Current licensure with the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Licensing Permit from NBCOT to work under direct supervision for 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatments.
• Design treatment programs with functional goals.
• Review clinical records and physician referrals to plan care.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and progress reports.
• Attend clinics, conferences, and trainings.
• Evaluate and order adaptive equipment and instruct caregivers.
• Provide therapy recommendations to care team.
• Consult with caregivers and other involved agencies.
• Participate in IEP processes and support the Medical Therapy Program.
• Direct Therapy Aides, volunteers and interns.
