Job summary

GREEN APPLE THERAPY SERVICES is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist or OTA for an outpatient clinic in Cypress, TX. This PRN position has a small, consistent after-school caseload from 3:30 to 7:00 pm, reporting to the Clinical Manager.

The OT evaluates and treats pediatric patients, develops treatment plans, instructs families and team members, and may supervise an OTA. Texas licensure and lifting ability up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Texas.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift, transfer and position patients up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs OT evaluations and develops treatment plans per physician orders.
• Implements therapy in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Instructs patients and families on therapy procedures.
• Maintains medical records and submits patient documentation timely.
• Supervises OTA (if applicable) to carry out the treatment plan.
• Participates in care conferences and coordinates with the care team.
• Works PRN with a small, consistent after-school caseload (3:30–7:00 pm).
• Adheres to agency policies, ethics, and relevant regulations.
