Qualifications

The team provides pediatric occupational therapy, speech therapy, and feeding services for children with diverse diagnoses and functional challenges. Clinicians are committed to excellence and ongoing specialized training to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed care. The practice focuses on individualized treatment and meaningful family support throughout the therapy process. Butterfly Pediatric Therapy is also expanding its infant program for feeding and development and offers group services to promote social engagement and skill-building.

Role Description

The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will provide on-site, full-time services at our Bellevue, and Issaquah, WA clinic, delivering evaluations and individualized treatment plans for infants and children with a range of developmental and functional needs. Responsibilities include conducting standardized and clinical assessments, planning and implementing therapeutic interventions, and documenting progress in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The therapist will collaborate closely with families and caregivers to provide education, home program strategies, and ongoing support. This role also involves working with an interdisciplinary team, contributing to feeding and early intervention programs, and facilitating group sessions to promote social interaction and developmental skills. Participation in team meetings, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives is expected.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Occupational Therapy and Pediatrics, including experience providing pediatric OT services across various developmental stages.


• Knowledge of Sensory Integration approaches and their application in treating children with sensory processing and regulation needs.


• Experience in Early Intervention and Working With Children, particularly infants and young children with developmental or feeding concerns.


• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist and graduation from an accredited OT program.


• Strong communication and family-centered care skills, including the ability to collaborate with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members.


• Commitment to ongoing professional development, evidence-informed practice, and culturally responsive, non-discriminatory care.


• Experience in pediatric feeding therapy, group therapy, or similar clinical settings is preferred but not required.
