About

THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, has an exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. This Full Time/Part Time/PRN position is based in our Austin division.

Locations include:

  • Manor/Elgin
  • New Braunfels
  • Round Rock/Pflugerville
  • San Marcos
  • Seguin
  • Temple/Killeen

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including bilingual individuals. This adds complexity but also enriches your experience, developing cross-cultural communication skills. Resources and support are provided to navigate these interactions effectively. What You'll Do
  1. Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to assess patient needs.
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders, using your clinical judgment.
  3. Create home exercise programs in collaboration with patients' caregivers.
  4. Collaborate and coordinate care within patients' medical teams.
  5. Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required.
  6. Meet deadlines for documentation, progress summaries, call logs, and other paperwork.
  7. Engage with agency personnel to ensure high-quality patient care standards.
  8. Perform duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
  9. Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines for home-health pediatric occupational therapy.
What You'll Need
  • A current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas.
  • An innovative and reliable professional attitude.
  • Flexibility to adapt resources and priorities as needed.
  • Proficiency with workplace technology (laptop, phone, email, web browser).
Bonus Points For
  • 3+ years pediatric OT experience.
  • Experience in home health settings.
  • Specializations in feeding therapy or other clinical areas.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
