Job summary

Soar Autism Center is actively seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. We provide early intervention and integrated care for children with autism, collaborating with ABA, speech therapy, and psychology to support each child’s development.

You will design center-based OT for children ages 2–6, coach RBTs, monitor progress, and partner with families to achieve meaningful outcomes in daily activities and learning through an integrated care approach.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with a pediatric focus and valid OT license.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disorders.
• Strong collaboration with ABA, speech, psychology teams and families.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to support early-intervention goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver naturalistic OT for young children (ages 2–6) in a center setting.
• Develop targeted interventions to improve gross motor, fine motor, and feeding skills.
• Perform multidisciplinary assessments and co-create treatment plans with other clinicians.
• Provide coaching to RBTs and integrate OT goals into sessions.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and communicate with families and team members.
• Build strong family partnerships and support ongoing family coaching.

Soar Autism Center is actively seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team At Soar, we are building a network of interdisciplinary clinics that provide transformative services for children with autism and their families. Our focus is on early intervention, comprehensive support services, and fostering positive, developmentally appropriate learning experiences tailored to the individual needs of each child and family. We specialize in integrated autism care specifically designed for young children with autism.

Role Overview

• Design and execute naturalistic occupational therapy for young children aged 2-6 years in a center-based environment.
• Develop targeted interventions to enhance clients' gross motor, fine motor skills, feeding abilities, and performance in other daily activities.
• Conduct comprehensive multidisciplinary assessments and formulate treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical domains (ABA, speech therapy, psychology), including conducting co-treatments with the speech therapy team.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), guiding them in integrating OT goals into their therapy sessions and supporting their professional development.
• Regularly monitor client progress, revising treatment plans and objectives as needed, and ensuring effective communication with team members and families.
• Forge strong partnerships with families, setting collaborative goals, fostering meaningful relationships, communicating progress, and offering dedicated coaching and support throughout their journey.

Qualifications

• A degree in Occupational Therapy with a focus on pediatrics or a similar field
• Current licensure as a Occupational Therapist
• Experience in working with children with autism or related developmental disorders
• Strong understanding of and commitment to early intervention and integrated care approaches
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a passion for supporting the growth and development of children with autism
