Job summary
Clarity Pediatrics, Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Obesity Specialist to join our remote clinical team, delivering virtual care for children and teens aged 5-17 with obesity and overweight conditions.
You will participate in family-based behavioral therapy and individualized medical management within our tech-enabled, evidence-based care model. You will conduct 60-minute intake appointments, provide medication management (GLP-1s and other anti-obesity medications), lead group sessions, collaborate
Qualifications
- CA medical license and active DEA registration.
- Board certification in Pediatrics required; obesity medicine preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of patient care experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 60-minute virtual intake appointments to screen obesity/overweight and tailor treatment plans.
- Provide clinical services including medication management and diagnostics interpretation.
- Lead group appointments for Positive Parenting for Healthy Weight.
- Collaborate with behavioral health colleagues and refer as needed.
- Conduct 30-minute follow-up appointments to monitor progress and adjust plans.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and coordinate care with nursing.
