Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Nutrition Technician (PRN) to identify patients at nutritional risk and refer them to the clinical dietitian, supporting nutrition care with the team. This role performs nutrition calculations, data entry, and basic clinical functions in the hospital setting.

Requirements include an associate degree or higher (or 2 years of hospital unit experience) and Serv-Safe certification.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients for nutrition risk and refers to clinical dietitian.
• Performs basic clinical functions including calorie counts and nutrient analysis.
• Enters calorie count and nutrient data into the hospital EMR.
• Verifies formula orders and recipes in the EMR.
• Participates in training of nutrition staff and process improvements.
