Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant to support patient care in the clinical nutrition department. You will assist with infant formula preparation, tray line work, diet office tasks, and clerical duties under the supervision of the Registered Dietitian.

Under the Clinical Dietitian, you will help prepare formulas, deliver to units, assist with modified diets, and document in the medical record. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and HACCP adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Dietetic Technician or Registered Dietitian preferred.
• CDR-registered Dietetic Technician preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in food service or nutrition-related role.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Food Service Supervisor in patient trayline, snacks, and modified diets.
• Prepare infant formulas per hospital and HACCP guidelines.
• Deliver formulas to patient units and return unused formulas from the day prior.
• Complete lab requisitions and submit samples for culture.
• Plan menus and snacks with families within dietary restrictions.
• Document in the medical record and communicate with the care team.
