Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
• MS Office and computer skills.
• Ability to work with all staff, families and providers; customer service oriented.
• Associate degree/dietetic technician pathway or pursuing RD.

Responsibilities

• Under the Clinical Dietitian, provide nutrition education and simple diet instructions.
• Prepare infant formulas following HACCP guidelines.
• Deliver formulas to patient unit refrigerators and return unused formulas.
• Sterilize formulas as requested and complete lab requisitions accurately.
• Plan menus and snacks with families considering dietary restrictions and allergies.
• Assist in food production area with patient trayline and modified diets.
• Maintain inventory and document in medical records.
• Communicate information clearly to care teams and participate in teamwork.
