Nemours Children's Health in Florida is seeking a full-time CNA to join the Orlando team. Shifts are 10 hours, 3 days per week, with no weekends or holidays. Candidates must be a certified nursing assistant or have completed at least one nursing clinical semester.

The role includes patient care, vital signs, EMR documentation, and support across ages. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team in a pediatric-focused environment within Nemours, dedicated to Whole Child Health and family-centered

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma and accredited Nursing Assistant course required.
• In lieu of the Nursing Assistant course, completion of at least one semester of basic nursing skills in an accredited program required.
• Minimum of one year hospital PCT or CNA experience preferred.
• Valid American Heart Association BLS Certification required upon hire; BLS must be valid for 90 days post start date.

Aufgaben

• Prepares rooms for patient admissions ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment.
• Performs vital signs and reports abnormalities to RN.
• Records intake and output as directed by RN.
• Uses the EMR for patient care documentation.
• Transports patients to other units and escorts discharged patients to the car.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides routine care.
• Maintains a clean and safe patient care environment.
• Covers unit front desk as needed for back-up.
