The position requires a Master’s in Nursing (Doctorate preferred), with 2+ years of clinical practice and experience with online teaching via Zoom. Salary is paid per contact hour, on-site at Chicago-area campuses.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Doctorate in Nursing preferred (DNP or PhD).
• Minimum of 2 years’ clinical nursing experience.
• Familiarity with Brightspace or similar LMS preferred.
• Experience teaching online (e.g., Zoom) desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse students.

Responsibilities

• Design courses to meet learning outcomes and promote active student participation.
• Create an effective learning environment fostering intellectual curiosity and problem solving.
• Use formative and summative assessments to ensure learning outcomes are met.
• Support students’ academic, personal and career goals while modeling respect.
• Lead in student academic and professional communities; promote collaboration.
• Deliver instruction based on approved course syllabi and assess/grade students.
• Maintain attendance records and submit students’ grades.
• Hold weekly one hour of student conference time per course section.
