Job summary

Pediatric Specialty Care is seeking a Nurse Technician (CNA) to support pediatric residents with daily living activities, clinical duties, and compassionate care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, dignity, and engaging care for children and families.

Ideal candidates show empathy, strong communication, and a desire to work in pediatrics. CNA certification is preferred but not required, with opportunities for ongoing training and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CPR/First Aid certification required/maintained.
• Current, valid driver's license.
• Proficiency with computer programs preferred.
• CNA/Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• English proficiency at an intermediate level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL care and services including toileting, positioning, lifting, and safe transport.
• Document all provided services in the resident's medical record.
• Check residents' needs and ensure personal care is met.
• Safely transport residents to appointments and school bus loading/unloading.
• Stock care supplies and maintain equipment and cleanliness.
• Follow policies and maintain confidentiality and privacy.
• Adapt to changing needs and reprioritize tasks as required.
• Support a warm, nurturing environment and team collaboration.
