Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation; active Florida PA license.
• Active Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure or Florida PA license with or without prescriptive authority; BLS.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Manages and provides neurology care with collaborative consultation under supervision of an attending Neurologist.
• Conducts parent interviews and collects family history.
• Collaborates on historical events, findings, and diagnostic/therapeutic measures for admissions.
• Orders appropriate laboratory tests and procedures.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed for patient care.
• Participates in daily rounds and meets departmental goals.
• Completes timely documentation per Nemours policies.
