Job description

About Life Pediatric Endocrinology

Our model is built on unhurried medicine, precision-based care, and deeply personalized relationships. We focus on growth, puberty, metabolism, and hormone optimization, partnering with families who seek the highest level of expertise and attention.

We believe the future of medicine is proactive, integrative, and relationship-driven, where clinical excellence and patient experience are held to the same standard.

At Life, the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner functions as a Chief of Staff to the Physician, supporting the doctor, the president of care, in delivering seamless, high-touch, and highly analytical medicine.

This is a non-traditional NP role.

You will not manage a high-volume patient panel. Instead, you will operate at a higher level, evaluating data, coordinating care, and executing clinical strategy alongside the physician.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys thinking deeply, solving complex problems, and being central to an elite care model.

What You Will DoClinical Strategy and Critical Thinking

  • Analyze blood glucose data and assist in insulin adjustments
  • Synthesize medical records into clear, actionable clinical summaries
Patient and Family Experience
  • Communicate with families in a clear, warm, and highly responsive manner
  • Translate complex endocrine concepts into understandable guidance
  • Provide ongoing education, reassurance, and support
  • Deliver a white-glove, concierge-level experience in every interaction
Care Coordination
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across all aspects of care
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, pharmacies, and ancillary providers
  • Ensure continuity, clarity, and follow-through across the patient journey
Clinical Operations
  • Order labs, imaging, and diagnostic testing
  • Support prior authorizations and medication workflows
  • Assist with internal systems, workflows, and patient experience initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality clinical documentation
What Makes This Role Different
  • Fully remote with a national, high-performing team
  • No rushed visits or traditional patient volume expectations
  • Deep, collaborative partnership with physicians
  • Focus on precision, prevention, and long-term outcomes
  • Opportunity to operate at the top of your clinical and intellectual capacity
Who You Are
  • A high-level thinker who enjoys solving complex clinical problems
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional clinical judgment
  • A strong communicator who is clear, warm, and confident with families
  • Service-minded with a hospitality-driven approach to care
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-performance environment
  • Adaptable, proactive, and always thinking one step ahead
Required Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting complex lab data and managing chronic conditions
  • Background in concierge, direct primary care, or high-touch care models

This requires a team deeply committed to excellence, ownership, and continuous growth.
