Job summary

Children seeks a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join a pediatric practice, serving Bay St. Louis, Gulfport, Biloxi, and Gautier on a floating basis. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with the Medical Director to provide high-quality care.

The position requires a Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing, active NP and RN licenses, and experience in pediatric care. Telehealth may be used to treat patients as appropriate, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing required.
2+ years of NP experience in clinic/urgent care or similar setting.
Pediatric experience is a plus.
Active RN and NP licenses required.
DEA license for CDS prescribing.
Experience with EMR.

Responsibilities

Obtain comprehensive health histories through interviews and chart reviews; assess illness, risk factors, family history, psychosocial factors and perform thorough physical examinations.
Develop and implement treatment plans including prescribing/dispensing medications in line with guidelines and state laws.
Diagnose disease states and administer appropriate treatments.
Order/perform labs and screenings; consult with physicians as needed.
Document assessments and treatment plans clearly in patient charts.
