Job summary

Nemours seeks a Pediatric Advanced Practice Nurse to join the Eisenberg Elementary New Castle County School-Based Health System Team in Delaware. This 0.75 FTE associate position follows a 10-month schedule, aligning with the academic year and offering breaks and summers off.

The role focuses on pediatric care within a school setting, partnering with educators and families to support student health. The APRN will evaluate, manage, and follow up on health needs, with occasional telehealth

Qualifications

• MS in Nursing with NP specialization in pediatrics is required.
• Pediatric primary care experience of 3+ years required.
• Active DE RN license and APN licensure with prescriptive authority required.
• DE CSR and DEA registrations must be current.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect pediatric care in ambulatory/outpatient settings.
• Evaluate, manage, and follow-up on students' healthcare needs.
• Support telehealth as needed and partner with school-based health team.

Nemours is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Nurse to join our Eisenberg Elementary New Castle County School-Based Health System Team! This position is responsible for:

• An area of specialized nursing practice, and provides direct and indirect care to patients and their families in the ambulatory, and outpatient settings with the Seaford School system
• The nurse practitioner will carry out the major responsibility for the student’s health care needs including evaluation, management and follow-up
• This role will occasionally include various additional responsibilities, such as telehealth support.

Requirements:

• Master of Science in Nursing (PNP)
• Pediatric Primary Care NP Certification required
• Three years of pediatric primary care experience
• Active Delaware (or compact state) Registered Nurse Licensure required
• Active Delaware Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure, with prescriptive authority required
• Delaware Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) if practicing in Delaware
• Federal DEA registration with Office Address
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider (HCP) Certification required
