Job summary

The Jane Pauley Community Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive primary and preventive care for infants through young adults in Indiana.

The PNP will assess, diagnose, and manage health conditions while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to provide family-centered care and continuity of care. Responsibilities include age-appropriate assessments, immunizations, health education, and coordination with schools and community

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Indiana RN license and Indiana NP license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive age-appropriate health assessments and histories.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Develop and monitor individualized plans of care for pediatrics.
• Perform preventive exams and immunizations per guidelines.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and other assessments.
• Educate families on health conditions, treatments, and prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians and schools to ensure continuity of care.
• Initiate referrals and follow-up care when needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement.
• Demonstrate evidence-based practice and safety.
• Enhance patient and family experience and satisfaction.
• Address pediatric safety concerns per policies and laws.
