Job summary

Lone Star Circle of Care is seeking a board-certified APRN to provide outpatient primary care, with flexibility for in-person and telemedicine visits in Central Texas. You will work to improve access to quality healthcare for underserved populations and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within a non-profit FQHC.

Qualifications

You are a board-certified APRN who is passionate about working with the underserved population who may be experiencing significant barriers to care. You are comfortable providing care both in person and virtually, and you want to grow a practice where you and your patients work together to decide the best course of treatment in achieving their goals in an outpatient setting.

• Comfortable working independently in a group setting while also seeking support and consultation from colleagues.


• Ability to interact and collaborate with community partners and emergency medical/psychiatric service providers to ensure patient safety if a patient needs a higher level of care.


• Possess computer/technology skills to efficiently document within an electronic health record and conduct tele-medicine visits, as well as communicating/meeting with colleagues virtually.
