Job summary

Connect Pediatrics seeks a Pediatric Nurse Onboarding Lead to guide the onboarding and growth of nurses in home care within the Fort Worth area. The role is full-time and involves leadership, mentorship, and clinical oversight to ensure exceptional patient care.

You will coordinate training, support clinicians, and travel to client homes and sites. Texas RN/LVN license and 2+ years of pediatric nursing experience required, with strong EMR and MS Office skills. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license (RN or LVN) to practice in Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience.
• Willingness to travel to various field sites and client homes for training and onboarding.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office suite.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship through planning, organization, coordination, and regular review of nursing training.
• Deliver direct nursing care to highly complex clients transitioning from hospital to home care.
• Provide feedback on training methods to ensure high-quality care and charting compliance.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and staff to promote teamwork.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making in dynamic clinical environments.
• Assist leadership during in-home assessments, onboarding checks, and care coordination.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, policies, and operational guidelines.
• Explore innovative approaches to expand pediatric nursing services.
