• Completes supervised nursing assessment of patient conditions appropriate to age and condition.
• Evaluates patient responses to care, documents progress, and communicates with the healthcare team and families.
• Contributes to team efforts to ensure medication, storage and documentation standards are met.
• Provides unit and hospital orientation to patients and families.
• Collaborates with the clinical nurse to supervise patient care and delegate activities.
• Participates in care rounds and conferences to coordinate patient health status.
