Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Seaford, Delaware seeks an experienced Pediatric Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive primary care for children on-site. Responsibilities include well-child checks, sick-child visits, immunizations, care coordination, and education for families, with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team and thorough EMR documentation.

Requirements include active Delaware APRN or PA license, CSR prescriptive authority, BLS, and a Master's

Qualifications

• Strong written, phone, and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Three years of related clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient assessments including history and physical examinations.
• Formulating assessment and treatment plans of pediatric patients.
• Communicating with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition.
• Educating parents/caregivers on patient condition and plan of care.
• Triaging and responding to phone calls from patient families.
• Accurately recording patient information in the EMR.
• The NP must be able to work independently as well as part of multidisciplinary team.
