Xpress Pediatrics in Pikesville, MD is seeking a passionate Nurse Practitioner with pediatric experience to join our dedicated care team. This on-site role offers a fast-paced, patient-centered environment focused on children and families in our community.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/DO NP license in Maryland, with MSN or DNP in Pediatrics or Family Practice. PNP or FNP certification is preferred, and BLS/CPR is required. Join a supportive team delivering high-quality pediatric care.

Qualifications

• MD RN license and NP certification is required.
• MSN or DNP in Pediatrics or Family Practice is required.
• Pediatric NP (PNP) or Family NP (FNP) certification preferred.
• Prior clinical experience in pediatrics strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required; PALS a plus.
• Strong communication skills with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care including well-child visits, acute illness evaluations, and follow-ups.
• Diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions across ages from newborns to adolescents.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging.
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
