Job summary

District Medical Group (DMG) is seeking a full-time pediatric nocturnist to join our teaching-focused team at Valleywise Health in Phoenix, AZ. The physician will provide inpatient pediatric care and contribute to clinical quality and education.

The role includes nightly rounds with pediatric residents and medical students, participation in the pediatric residency program and fellowship, and support for NICU and Level III services.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Pediatrics required.
• Pediatric hospital medicine BC/BE preferred but not required.
• Spanish language ability preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric care as part of a hospitalist team.
• Round with residents and medical students daily and participate in teaching.
• Contribute to pediatric residency and fellowship education programs at a teaching hospital.
• Support NICU, Level II/III services and ambulatory pediatric education initiatives.
