Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist (DOH) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with breathing disorders.
• Administering respiratory therapies.
• Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Monitoring and managing mechanical ventilators for patients who require respiratory support.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
• Providing patient education and support on breathing techniques and medications.
