Wolfson Children's Hospital, part of Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time, night shift position. This role involves cross-training in Pediatrics and the NICU, with responsibilities across assessment, therapy administration, diagnostic testing and ventilator management.

Applicants must hold a Florida Respiratory Therapist license with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Qualificações

• Certificate required for Respiratory Therapist licensure in Florida
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred
• Associate degree preferred; BSRT not required
• Florida DOH license as Respiratory Therapist is required

Responsabilidades

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients with respiratory disorders
• Administer respiratory therapies and monitor progress
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and function studies
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators for patients
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and care teams on treatment plans
• Provide patient education on breathing techniques, medications and lifestyle changes
• Maintain accurate patient assessments, treatments and progress documentation
