Dayton Children\'s is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Assistant II for the NICU at the Main Campus. The role supports nurses in patient care activities, communicates with families, and helps maintain a safe, clean environment.

Education: HSD/GED required; PCA training or experience preferred; CPR preferred at hire withing 2 weeks of start. The position is cross-trained to support both clinical and clerical tasks in a fast-paced NICU setting.

Qualifications

• Education: HSD/GED is required.
• PCA training or PCA experience or actively enrolled in a health care related education program is required.
• CPR is preferred at hire, but must be obtained within 2 weeks of start date.

Responsabilités

• Assist the nurse in completion of patient care activities.
• Measure and record vital signs, intake and output.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide safe transportation and environment.
• Cross train to support clinical and clerical sides of the business.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and report patient information as indicated.
