Job summary

Indiana University Health System is seeking a Pediatric Psychometrist to work under a neuropsychologist, administering and scoring cognitive and behavioral tests for children and adolescents at the IUHMG M-Neuroscience Center.

You will build rapport with families, observe behavior, and contribute to clinical care, charting, and referrals. Spanish-language testing is available, with interpreter support if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field required.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience required.
• Spanish language fluency encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Administer and score standardized neuropsychological, cognitive, and behavioral tests to children and adolescents.
• Build and maintain clinical rapport with patients and families.
• Observe and document patient behavior, and manage behavioral challenges during testing.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, staff colleagues, and clinicians.
• Serve patients from preschool age through young adulthood.
• Assist with training and test certification for staff and trainees.
• Conduct testing for clinical research studies and complete data entry.
• Maintain clinical charts and keep clinic supplies stocked.
• Review and triage referrals and support general office operations.
• Conduct assessments in Spanish when needed, with interpreter support.
