Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a Psychometrist to administer standardized tests for cognitive, attention, memory, and personality assessments across the lifespan. You will conduct neuropsychological and psychological assessments, maintain a valid testing environment, and work under a neuropsychology or psychology consultant; bilingual candidates encouraged to apply, Spanish preferred.

This is a full-time position with typical hours of 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field.
• Prior experience in psychometrics, education, or psychology is desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills; ability to adapt to change; computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Administer standardized psychological tests to assess cognitive, attention, memory, personality, and academic achievement across ages.
• Conduct neuropsychological and psychological tests and measures of delayed development, learning disabilities, and attention disorders.
• Maintain a controlled testing environment and ensure reliable results, documenting observations accurately.
• Engage patients, minimize fatigue during assessments, and collaborate with neuropsychology or psychology supervisors.
