Job summary

Akron Children's seeks a Program Director for Neuropsychology to lead programming, train staff, and ensure evidence-based assessment and treatment across pediatric neuropsychology services.

The role collaborates with the Director of Psychology and interfaces with Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, with responsibilities including program oversight, staff development, and adherence to best practices; board certification within 5 years is expected.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in child/pediatric psychology with APA/CPA internship.
• Eligibility for Ohio licensure.
• Completion of a Pediatric Neuropsychology Post-doctoral Fellowship (APPCN preferred).
• Board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology must be obtained within 5 years of hire.
• Experience with medical populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee neuropsychology programming.
• Train clinical staff and oversee education initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based assessment and treatment modalities.
• Serve as liaison between the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health and other departments.
