Job Description

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a pediatric neuropsychologist to join a multidisciplinary child and adolescent psychiatry department. The role involves working with children and adolescents in Pediatric Neurosurgery clinics for neurovascular diseases, with potential work in epilepsy and brain tumors. This is a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator faculty position.

Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting neuropsychological evaluations of children and adolescents with various disorders
  • Teaching in multidisciplinary training programs
  • Engaging in research or scholarly activities
Qualifications
  • PhD from a clinical psychology program with APA-approved internship in clinical child or pediatric psychology
  • Fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology and board certification or eligibility
  • Experience with endocrine, genetic disorders, and medical populations; Spanish fluency is highly desirable
Minimum Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology with internship and fellowship
  • Illinois licensure or eligibility
  • Experience with pediatric neuropsychological assessments, collaboration with epilepsy teams, and functional neuroimaging techniques
Job Duties
  • Performing diagnostic evaluations and interpreting results
  • Monitoring neurocognitive and emotional status
  • Participating in imaging studies and research activities
  • Providing therapy and collaborating with medical teams
Education

PhD in clinical psychology (required)

Pay Range

$100,000.00 - $1,000,000.00 annually, with comprehensive benefits
