Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Pediatric Neuropsychologist to oversee neurofunctional assessments and translate findings into therapeutic approaches for interprofessional care. The role supports families and coordinates with a clinical database to promote research.

Required are pediatric neuropsychology specialization, 4 years of direct neurological patient experience in inpatient/outpatient settings, and family counseling experience.

Qualifications

• Special training and/or experience in pediatric neuropsychology
• 4 years of experience in direct assessment and care of patients with neurological diagnoses
• Experience in family therapy/counseling related to impaired neurofunctioning
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: writing and research skills; supervision of students

Responsabilités

• Provides effective delivery of services to the patient’s needs and severity.
• Implements inpatient cognitive remediation techniques.
• Provides appropriate assessment and treatment.
• Develops and implements assessment standards and treatment plans.
• Documents treatment notes weekly/monthly and follows standards
