Job summary

Children’s Minnesota is seeking a skilled pediatric neuropsychologist to join the Neurodevelopmental Services Program. The successful candidate will perform comprehensive assessments for children and adolescents with a variety of neurodevelopmental, neurological and psychological conditions, synthesizing results and providing feedback to caregivers and schools.

The role includes close collaboration with the Pediatric Cardiovascular Program and Intensive Care Follow-up Clinics, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an APA-accredited internship
• Completion of a 2 year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology
• Licensed or license-eligible in Minnesota
• Experience with a wide range of pediatric populations and neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g. ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, genetic or other medical conditions impacting development)
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and report-writing skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents.
• Synthesize and interpret results and provide feedback and guidance to caregivers, referring providers, educational teams and other stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Pediatric Cardiovascular Program and Intensive Care Follow-up Clinics, among other referring clinics.
• Follow patients from early childhood through young adulthood, including those with congenital heart disease and complex birth histories.
• Opportunity for direct research collaboration with the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Outcome Collaborative (CNOC).
