Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board certified or board eligible in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology.
• Completion of fellowship training in Neuropathology is required.
• Pediatric pathology fellowship training is desirable but not required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Arizona.
• Strong diagnostic skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are essential.

Responsibilities

• Interpret pediatric central nervous system tumors, neuromuscular pathology specimens, epilepsy-related resections, and other complex neuropathologic disorders.
• Support an active pathology service that evaluates many neurological cases annually.
• Collaborate with Barrow Neurological Institute and other pediatric neuroscience programs.
• Engage in teaching, translational research, and program development.
