Job summary

Cook Children's Medical Center and Health Care System, located in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a board certified/board eligible child neurologist to join our pediatric neurology clinic in Amarillo, Texas. This physician will provide outpatient neurology care at the Amarillo location and inpatient consultations at two local hospitals.

Subspecialty clinics for epilepsy and movement disorders are provided monthly by staff from the main campus with telemedicine consultations available as required.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in pediatric neurology.
• Ability to provide outpatient neurology care at Amarillo location.
• Willingness to participate in inpatient consultations and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neurology care at Amarillo location and participate in inpatient consultations at local hospitals.
• Share call responsibilities with Cook Children's physicians serving West Texas.
• Attend subspecialty clinics for epilepsy/movement disorders as offered; telemedicine available.
• Engage in teaching opportunities with Texas Tech University for medical students and residents.
