Job summary

Penn State Health’s Pediatric Neurology group seeks a Nurse Practitioner with an interest in headache, tic disorders, and epilepsy. The patient population ranges newborns through 18 years.

This role is primarily outpatient with some inpatient responsibilities, including ED consultations and coverage of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). The successful candidate will join a supportive team of pediatric neurologists, NPs, PAs, care coordinators, and nursing staff, with opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization.
• Two years' work experience as an RN.
• Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient-focused role with occasional inpatient responsibilities.
• Provide ED consultations and coverage of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU).
• Manage referrals for new neurologic concerns and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with pediatric neurology team to develop programs.
