The University of Louisville's Department of Pediatrics, Child Neurology division, is recruiting a faculty member to join our attending physicians and child neurology fellows at Norton Children's Hospital. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in neurology and be eligible to obtain a medical license in Kentucky; experience in academic settings and commitment to education

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in neurology.
• Eligible to obtain a medical license in the state of Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and epilepsy fellows in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Develop and deliver child neurology curricula, including lectures, case conferences, journal clubs, and board-review sessions.
• Participate in clinical and translational research on genetic epilepsies in children, contributing to study design, recruitment, data analysis, and dissemination of results.
• Mentor trainees in scholarly projects and quality-improvement activities related to epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disabilities.
• Serve on relevant departmental and institutional committees, representing child neurology in education, research, and quality/safety initiatives.
• Contribute to academic conferences, grand rounds, and CME activities, including organizing sessions and presenting original work.
