Job summary

Rady Children’s Health – Orange County seeks a Pediatric Neurologist with movement disorders focus to join the Neurology Division. The role includes managing a comprehensive movement disorders program, DBS patient care, botulinum toxin injections, and multidisciplinary collaboration across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Candidates should have an MD/DO, CA license eligibility, and board status in Pediatric Neurology; strong teaching and research interest is a plus.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree and eligibility for California licensure.
Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Neurology.
Current DEA registration.
Movement Disorders expertise or strong clinical interest preferred.
Experience with multidisciplinary pediatric neuroscience care strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage patients requiring advanced movement disorder therapies, including DBS surgery and programming.
Provide botulinum toxin injections for spasticity and dystonia; participate in DBS evaluations post-surgery.
Collaborate with Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, PM&R, Genetics, Rehabilitation Services, and other subspecialists.
Develop and maintain specialized movement disorder programs and clinical pathways.
Engage in teaching, resident education, and research initiatives related to pediatric movement disorders.
