CHOC Children’s Specialists in Orange County seeks a full-time Pediatric Neurologist with movement disorders expertise to join the Neurology Division. The physician will participate in a comprehensive movement disorders program, including DBS, botulinum toxin injections, and multidisciplinary clinics, in a collaborative academic environment affiliated with UCI.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Current California medical license or licensure eligibility.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Neurology.
• Current DEA registration.
• Movement disorders expertise or strong clinical interest preferred.
• Experience with multidisciplinary pediatric neuroscience care preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to family-centered pediatric care and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for pediatric movement disorders patients.
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, orthopedics, PM&R, genetics, rehab, and other subspecialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary movement disorders clinics and DBS programs.
• Perform post-surgical DBS evaluations and programming.
• Develop and expand specialized movement disorder programs and research with UCI affiliation.
