Inova Children’s Neurology seeks a Board-Certified Child Neurologist to join our growing pediatric team in Northern Virginia. This full-time position offers opportunities to care for patients in outpatient clinics and inpatient consults, with teaching roles for medical students and residents.

Our team collaborates with Neurosurgery, Neuropsychology, Neuroimaging, Genetics, and Pediatrics to deliver comprehensive, family-centered care within a nationally recognized health system.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Child Neurology and Epilepsy.
• Completion of a pediatric neurology residency with additional epilepsy fellowship.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Virginia.
• BLS certification.

Inova Children’s is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified Child Neurologist to join our growing pediatric team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nationally recognized children’s health system and contribute to the continued expansion of comprehensive pediatric specialty care throughout Northern Virginia. This full-time position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Inova Children’s Neurology is seeking to add Child Neurologists with additional training in Epilepsy to a growing team with expertise in general neurology, fetal-neonatal neurology, epilepsy, neuromuscular, headache, concussion/TBI, neuro-oncology, and hospital care. The Inova Children’s Neurology team collaborates in patient care with Neurosurgery, Neuropsychology, Neuroimaging, Neuro-oncology, Genetics, Psychiatry, Developmental Pediatrics, and Neuropathology.

• Outpatient pediatric neurology clinics

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification: Board eligible or board certified in Child Neurology and Epilepsy

• Training: Completion of an ACGME Accredited Pediatric Neurology Residency Program with additional fellowship training in Epilepsy

• License:Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start

• Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor

• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
