Job description

The Department of Pediatric Neurology at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons is seeking a new mid-career physician as Assistant Clinical Neurologist. This position will involve working at a new, large multi-specialty medical practice in Westchester White Plains, adjacent to New York City.

In this role, you will participate in providing the highest level of care to patients in the department of pediatric neurology.

Clinical responsibilities include:
  1. Deliver exceptional, specialized patient care with consistently excellent outcomes.
  2. Mentor junior colleagues, supporting their professional development and growth.
  3. Contribute to departmental initiatives, including quality improvement and patient safety efforts.
  4. Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and maintain relevant advanced certifications.
  5. Serve as a trusted resource for complex cases and high-acuity patients.
  6. Achieve and uphold high patient satisfaction scores.
  7. Meet or surpass productivity targets.

Candidates must hold an MD degree, have completed fellowship training in pediatric neurology, be board certified/eligible in Pediatric Neurology and eligible to practice in the State of New York.

The salary range for this position is: $249,997-$299,996. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Compensation can go above this range based on earned incentives.
