Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Pediatric Neurologist to practice in our multi-specialty academic program in Wilmington, NC. This team is part of a partnership with UNC School of Medicine and Novant Health to provide specialty care to children across southeastern and coastal NC.

The position will join two other pediatric neurologists at the Wilmington campus and two advanced practice providers. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology; EEG

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Neurology with Specialty in Child Neurology.
• Ability to interpret EEGs is required.
• Sleep medicine or epilepsy training is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and perform clinical activities in outreach locations in southeastern NC.
• Involve medical students, other health-profession students, and residents in education.
• Research opportunities are available as part of the academic setting.
