Job summary

UNC Health seeks a Board Eligible/Certified Pediatric Cardiologist to join our multi-specialty practice in Wilmington, NC. The physician will focus on outpatient care with some inpatient consultation, and will join the UNC Childrens Heart Center as part of an academic group, teaching medical students and residents.

The role offers faculty appointment with UNC School of Medicine, scholarship opportunities, and collaboration with NH-NHRMC to expand pediatric care across Southeast NC.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Pediatric Cardiology or board-eligible.
• Fetal echocardiography expertise preferred.
• Excellent outpatient care skills with some inpatient involvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric cardiology care with occasional inpatient consultations.
• Teach UNC School of Medicine students and Novant residents.
• Participate in faculty meetings and case conferences, virtually with Chapel Hill.
