Job summary

AMN Healthcare Physician Solutions is seeking a Pediatric Neurologist in Charleston, SC, to join MUSC's Division of Pediatric Neurology. Expect outpatient clinic 4 days/week (8 am–5 pm) with inpatient service weeks every 5–6 weeks and opportunities for teaching and research in a leading children’s hospital.

Open to subspecialties including epilepsy and neuromuscular, with a base salary, signing bonus, relocation assistance, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• BC Pediatric Neurologist required for academic pediatric neurology setting.
• Teaching and research opportunities in a multidisciplinary children's hospital.
• Fellowships/subspecialties including epilepsy and neuromuscular encouraged.

Responsibilities

• See approximately 12 pediatric neurology patients per day.
• Share inpatient pediatric neurology service weeks every 5 to 6 weeks.
• Teach in a 5-year ACGME-accredited Child Neurology Residency Program.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, therapists, psychologists, and nursing staff.

The Division of Pediatric Neurology at MUSC - The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a BC Pediatric Neurologist to join its team, open to all subspecialties including epilepsy and neuromuscular, with opportunities for teaching and research in a multidisciplinary children's hospital setting and an excellent academic compensation plan.

Opportunity Highlights

• Join an academic pediatric neurology team in beautiful Charleston, SC
• Practice pediatric neurology, open to subspecialties with opportunities to teach and pursue research
• Live and work in coastal Charleston, SC, with an excellent academic compensation plan
• Work 4 days per week in an outpatient clinic, typically 8 am to 5 pm
• See approximately 12 pediatric neurology patients per day with defined visit times
• Share inpatient pediatric neurology service weeks every 5 to 6 weeks
• Join a pediatric neurology faculty supported by 4 nurse practitioners and physician assistants
• Practice at the new Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital with 24/7 video EEG monitoring
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, including neurosurgeons, therapists, psychologists, and nursing staff
• Teach in a 5-year ACGME-accredited Child Neurology Residency Program
• Receive base salary, signing bonus, relocation assistance, and retirement options
• Enjoy 22 annual leave days, 15 sick days, and 13 paid holidays
• Qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness as an MUSC-employed physician
