Job summary

Innovative Suit Therapy & Fitness in Mandeville, LA seeks a full-time Physical Therapist to provide neurologically focused therapy for pediatric and young adult patients in an on-site clinical setting.

You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver interventions aimed at improving mobility and functional independence, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and educating families on home programs.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation with pediatric and neurological experience.
• Experience in medical assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions.
• Experience supporting Home Care planning and caregiver education.
• Louisiana licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• DPT or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Experience with cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, developmental delay, autism, or spina bifida preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and with families.
• Commitment to inclusive, patient-centered care and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations for pediatric and young adult patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions in an on-site clinical setting in Mandeville, LA.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists and the care team; educate families on home exercises.
• Document progress, adjust plans as needed, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
