The division provides inpatient and ambulatory care for children with kidney disease and high blood pressure, offering dialysis, transplant services, and fetal/neonatal programs across Houston hospitals, with rich teaching opportunities for students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required; Texas medical license or eligibility for faculty temporary license.
• Board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology expected.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, teaching, and program development.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient/ambulatory clinical care for pediatric nephrology patients including transplant recipients.
• Participation in dialysis and transplant services across affiliated Houston hospitals.
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows; engage in research/quality improvement.

Education

M.D. or D.O. degree

Texas Medical License or be eligible for Texas Faculty Temporary License

Board-certified in Pediatrics and Board-eligible/certified in Pediatric Nephrology
