The successful candidate will provide comprehensive neonatal care in Level IV NICU at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital and Level III NICU at Lyndon B.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Eligible for a Texas Medical License or Texas Faculty Temporary License.
• Clinical experience in neonatal-perinatal medicine; academic experience commensurate with Assistant/Associate Professor appointment.
• Strong interest in clinical excellence, medical education, scholarly activity, quality improvement, and collaborative patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in the Level IV NICU at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital and Level III NICU at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, including inpatient coverage, patient rounds, and night call responsibilities.
• Teach, mentor, and supervise medical students, pediatric residents, neonatal nurse practitioners, and neonatology fellows.
• Participate in clinical, translational, and quality improvement research initiatives that advance neonatal outcomes and evidence-based care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical guidelines, protocols, and best practices for neonatal care.
• Contribute to hospital and departmental committees, quality and safety initiatives, and other service activities that support the mission of the division and institution.
• Engage in scholarly activities, including publications, presentations, and other academic contributions that enhance the field of neonatology.
