Job summary

UI Health is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant/Associate/Professor in Pediatric Nephrology at UICOMP. The successful candidate will provide diagnostic and treatment services to children with kidney conditions, and develop educational programs for students and residents.

This unique opportunity includes competitive salary and benefits, with a budgeted salary range of $178,000 to $320,000 per year. The role emphasizes both clinical practice and academic advancement, making it ideal for driven professionals in the field.

Qualifications

• MD degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for Illinois Physician License.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and treatment services to children with kidney or urinary tract conditions.
• Develop educational programs for medical students and residents in pediatric nephrology.
• Maintain inquiry and scholarship in Nephrology Service activities.
• Perform administrative duties and University service as assigned.
• Some travel may be required between healthcare facilities.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
