Nemours Children's Health in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking Pediatric Nephrologists to join our team to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will participate in multidisciplinary teams, contribute to education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

The role includes diagnosing and managing a wide range of renal conditions, dialysis oversight, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board eligible/certified in pediatric nephrology.
• Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric kidney conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Oversee dialysis management.
• Provide consultative services to other departments and participate in rounds.
• Participate in shared call coverage including inpatient consults and after-hours duties.
• Educate patients and families about disease management, medications, nutrition, and treatment plans.

Job description

Nemours Children's Health is seeking Pediatric Nephrologists to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida.

Candidates will be expected to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage pediatric patients with a wide range of kidney-related conditions including acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, nephrotic and nephritic syndromes, congenital and inherited renal disorders, electrolyte and acid-base abnormalities and urinary tract anomalies
• Manage and oversee dialysis
• Provide consultative services to other hospital departments and participate in multidisciplinary rounds
• Participate in shared call coverage, including inpatient consults and after-hours responsibilities
• Educate patients and families about disease management, medications, nutrition, and treatment plans
