Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital seeks a Pediatric Nephrologist to join an expanding care team. You will diagnose and treat kidney and kidney-related diseases in children and teens, including hypertension, nephrotic syndrome, and transplant-related care.

You will work with three pediatric nephrologists, enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, and have opportunities for leadership, research, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Nephrology.
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat kidney and kidney-related diseases in children and teens.

• Support kidney dialysis and renal care services for pediatric patients, including pre- and post-transplant care.

We are seeking a Pediatric Nephrologist to join our expanding care team!

The successful candidate will join an established team of three pediatric nephrologists who diagnose and treat children and teens with kidney and kidney-related diseases, including high blood pressure, urinary tract infection, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, kidney stone formation, pheresis services, kidney failure as well as pre and post-transplant care. We also have a kidney dialysis and renal care center for children and teens whose kidneys have failed.

Requirements include board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Nephrology, and the ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Ohio.
