Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Active RRT credential and Virginia license to practice.
• AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification.
• NBRC Specialty Credential (e.g., RRT-ACCS, RRT-NPS) expected within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care therapies and interventions per physician orders and protocols.
• Assess/monitor patient respiratory status and adjust treatments.
• Manage ventilation, oxygen delivery systems, and airway support devices.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care team to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and therapies.
• Document care accurately to support continuity and safety.
